- PRESCHOOL EDUCATION (With Lisa and Clyde!)
Lisa and Clyde visit area nursery schools, pre-k classes and kindergarten classes throughout the year and primarily during Children's Dental Health Month (February). Lisa has been with Capital District Pediatric Dentistry for 12+ years. She enjoys bringing Clyde into the classroom for a fun way of teaching the importance of proper nutrution and oral hygiene so that children can acheive optimal dental health.

- COMPLIMENTARY EXAMS FOR ONE-YEAR OLDS
Capital District Pediatric Dentistry is committed to preventing tooth decay in children. We provide free dental exams to children up to 18 months old in an effort to give parents (especially first-time parents) all of the information they need for their child to grow up without dental decay and to establish a Dental Home. Parents will be provided with information concerning teething, proper diet, brushing techniques, fluoride and dental trauma. Our team will identify risk factors for dental decay and help families acheive optimal dental health for a lifetime
- COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMS
Our Doctors participate with New York State's Third District Dental Society Outreach Programs. Our community is lucky to have this Society who organize dental screenings for children throughout the Capital District. These programs help to provide dental exams to a population of children who would otherwise not have the oppurtunity.
We are happy to provide tours of our office and discussions with our doctors for Local Mother's Group. Our doctors will be happy to answer all of your concerns about fluoride, diet, sucking habits, trauma to teeth, challenges with brushing, bottles and sippy cups, healthy snacks. - SPONSORING FAMILIES IN NEED
The entire team at Capital District is committed to giving back to the community throughout the year and especially during the Holiday Season. We sponsor families and local groups that are in need of dental supplies, clothing, and food.
